What a wonderful surprise to see Chuck and Nancy Horton,
AKA: Mr. and Mrs. District Superintendent, at church on Sunday. Chuck was there to bring the morning message in Patrick's absence. Patrick was gone on a mission trip to Espanola, NM with our district youth. Chuck is funny, tells great stories and brings the Word of God to life like a conversation with a good friend.
After the children's sermon that celebrated Vacation
Bible School 2010, Alba enlisted help from the children to pass out goody bags to the dads, grandpas, spiritual fathers and all the men in the congregation.Hopefully Mattie and Patrick will be back from the mission trip by Sunday and we can hear all about it.
