High School Students Come to Lunch
Our first school lunch was a success. 48 high school students and teachers filled the Fellowship Hall on WED, December 9th for lasagna, garlic bread, salad, cookies and pop. The food was good, many came back for seconds. Patrick told a story about a mission trip to Washington DC to work at St. Francis House, a beautiful building and gardens used to house dying homeless men. The students listened attentively. They know how to act at church. :~) My last count was 49 students and teachers plus the IUMC "lunch staff."

It's wonderful to see the church members involved with the young people in the school. Kudos for all the time and effort being put into tutoring and the lunches. Hopefully this will bring more young people into the church.
